Buffalo, N.Y. — Some parts of Upstate New York already have over 30 inches of snow and the snow is still coming down.
Several counties in Western New York and the North Country are under states of emergency due to the snow. The Thruway has been shut down in some areas in western New York.
More snow is expected to fall today and Sunday.
The most snow reported so far is in Cassadaga, a village in Chautauqua County between Buffalo and Erie, Pa. that got 31.6 inches.
